Snow Day! How about a sketch challenge? Basic Cutting for Card Making and Stampin' Up One Wild Ride Stamp Set

Hello Friends!

Are you stuck home in the snow today?  It's snowing like crazy here in Massachusetts today!

Has it been a really long time since you sat down to stamped?

I'm taking it WAY back and releasing a "how to cut your cardstock" series.  This will start today and go for 4 weeks, and you can play along if you like by posting your card somewhere online and linking back below, OR, you can post it to my interactive group on Facebook if you don't really have a spot to post your creations.
  1. First, we will talk about decoding basic measuring for card making.
  2. Then, we will sit down and make card templates together for future use for the next 4 weeks.
  3. Finally, I will share with you a card I made using the templates in about 5 minutes and issue this weeks's sketch.
Ready to have some fun?  So here's a peek at the quick card first.

First, do you struggle when it comes to knowing how to measure a measurement like 2 5/8".
Here is document you save to your computer, then print out and put in your craft room to decode those funky measurements. (Please save the file first, choose "save as" to do that from your file menu.  Some browsers have trouble printing PDF files.)

Next, there are two videos.  This first one teaches you how to cut for basic card making and how to make a template, so you're not left guessing what to cut at when you sit down to create, leaving you frustrated...  :)

Finally, here's a the second video (only 5 minutes) and I make this cute card using the templates from the first video in under 5 minutes. It doesn't have to take hours to make a card.

Here's a look at the sketch we cut for.

Here is a linky tool so you can show the card you made using this sketch!

If you need any supplies to make the above card, just click below to add them to your cart in my store. Thanks so much for visiting today!

Love,
Selene
